Knights donate to help VFW

SPARTA — The Saint Kateri Knights of Columbus Council #13677 recently made a donation of $500 to help the Sparta VFW. Grand Knight Jim Brocato presented the donation to Sparta VFW Commander Pete Litchfield at a recent council meeting. Brocato said, “Our St. Kateri Knights are honored to support the Sparta VFW and their efforts to help military veterans and their families. Their work is aligned with our principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.”
Commander Litchfield also spoke to the Knights about the broad scope of work that the Sparta VFW does in the community.
