Cassidy Turley, a leading commercial real estate services provider in the U.S., announces that William O’Keefe of Long Valley and Kelsey Nakamura of Morristown won Top Office Leasing Brokers and Chuck Fern of Livingston and Jason Barton of Sparta were named Top Industrial Leasing Brokers in the 2013 CoStar Power Broker Awards. Cassidy Turley in New Jersey also was named a Top Leasing Firm and Top Sales Firm in the Northern New Jersey submarket.

While 2013 was a strong year in terms of leasing activity in both office and industrial markets, 2014 is showing signs of increased performance with an even greater emphasis on the flight-to-quality trend. So far this year, the team of O’Keefe and Nakamura has negotiated 225,000 square feet of office leases representing tenants in six transactions totaling 110,000 square feet and owners in nine separate transactions adding up to 115,000 square feet. Fern and Barton can count among their successes the recent exclusive sales or leasing assignment of I-78 Logistics Center, a 360,000 square foot, Class-A industrial property at 111 Cokesbury Road in Clinton, owned by Woodmont Industrial Partners and AEW Capital Management.

“Cassidy Turley had several successes in 2013, not the least of which was a significant increase in leasing volume in both office and industrial markets,” said Raymond Trevisan, Managing Director of Cassidy Turley. “Our focus remains on providing best in class service to our wide range of clients, leveraging our executives’ expertise and providing the best available technological and analytic tools to our clients, giving them a distinct edge whether we serve them locally, nationally or internationally.”
