  • I always recommend cooking with something you wouldn't mind drinking. You don't need to use top-shelf, expensive alcohol, but if you don't enjoy taking a sip of it, you probably won't enjoy chewing food that has been infused with it.

    Most recipes only require a few ounces, so why not open the bottle of wine you have for dinner a little early and sharing a splash with your dish?
