Culinary throwdown at Sussex Tech

Sparta — Come on out to Sussex County Technical School on Route 94 in Sparta to see an energized Culinary Throwdown! This event will be hosted by Sodexo, the school’s food service management company. Similar to an Iron Chef contest, the fun begins on March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Witness the talents of four teams consisting of an adult team leader and 5 students, as they are given a “mystery” protein to construct their menu. This allows the students to showcase their culinary skills. They will be judged on their salad, entrée, dessert, and best overall, by our panel of judges.
