— The following events are coming to the Institute for Spritual Development in January, February and March.
Shamanic Drumming and Journey Circle
Thursday, January 18 at 7:30 PM
Led by Rev. John Drinkard
Shamanism is the oldest spiritual tradition known to humanity. To the Shaman’s eyes, the world around us is alive with Spirit. Learn to see with the Shaman’s eyes, to explore the hidden worlds and to access the timeless wisdom known to our ancestors. Come and discover how Shamans helped their people live in harmony with the universe for thousands of years.
The drum is the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Come join us as we ride our drums into the Spirit World in search of healing, knowledge and power. Experience the Shamanic State of Consciousness and expand your spiritual awareness. Bring back healing and restore your power where it has been lost. Establish a direct connection to the Spirit World, the center point of a lifelong personal Shamanic practice.
Bring a blanket, blindfold, and notebook for the journey. If you have a drum or rattle, bring it along. They are not required.
