CHARACTERISTICS
Poppy recently was returned after being in a home for two years. She had a hard time living with a young, active child in a busy home.
She can be wary of men on first meeting them but warms up quickly - especially if treats are involved.
Poppy wants to be right next to her people and get attention and cuddles. She is confused about being back at the kennel after being in a home for so long.
She is a great hiker and loves to swim, so she’d love to join you for all your adventures, but she also will just chill by your side and let you rub her belly.
Poppy loves other dogs but does not like cats.
HOUSE TRAINED
She is house-trained, crate-trained and walks nicely on a leash.
WOULD BE GOOD IN A HOME WITH
older, more considerate children and in a low-traffic household.
