Sussex County Chamber of Commerce welcomes new members
Newton — The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce welcomed nine new companies to the organization at a recent Business to Business Breakfast held at The Conservatory at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta.
"We’re pleased to welcome our new members” said Tammie Horsfield, president of the Chamber. “Our goal is to help these businesses achieve their goals.”

"We are excited to join the Sussex County Chamber,” said David Ferguson of Valley Paint & Hardware. “We are looking forward to meeting all the members and developing great relationships helping each other grow."
As members, area businesses have access to several benefits available through the Chamber including networking events, seminars, professional development, six local Chamber Councils, and marketing and promotional opportunities. Members can also get involved with the Chamber’s numerous committees, which include Government/Legislative Affairs, Human Resources Development, Women in Business and Young Professionals. Committee participation is a great way for company representatives to have a voice in the activities of the organization and to network with peers.
“The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities is excited to team up with the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce to reach out and encourage businesses to take advantage of NJ’s Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) expert advice and generous financial incentives when considering energy efficiency upgrades that will save money, reduce energy costs and help the environment,” Richard S. Mroz, president, New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. “The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce is one of a select few in the state with a committee dedicated to energy matters, the Energy Conservation Committee, and we look forward to contributing to its successful activities. The county is also experiencing significant infrastructure expansion by Elizabethtown Gas Company and NJCEP is working in concert with the company to encourage the use of energy efficient equipment across the service territory.”
