Dena Blizzard returns to SCCC

NEWTON — Tickets are selling fast for comedienne Dena Blizzard, who will bring her uproarious comedy show to Sussex County Community College on Saturday, April 7. The show will begin at 8 p.m. with tickets ranging in price from $18 to $45.
Blizzard presents a truthful look at the daily life of woman everywhere. Her comedy show is an assortment of wife wisdom and motherhood humor. Her "Chardonnay Go" video - where she hunts glasses of chardonnay instead of Pokémon - went viral this summer and now has more than 44 million views.
Dena first garnered attention in 1995 as Miss New Jersey in the Miss America pageant, ranking in the “Top 50.” Blizzard’s comedic take on marriage, motherhood and Miss America has garnered her infamous title, “One Funny Mother.” She has worked as a television host, corporate spokesperson, mother and stand-up comedienne.
Dena has also been a guest on Anderson Cooper’s Daytime show, performed for audiences at The Nate Berkus Show, Paula Deen’s “Paula’s Party”, and Emeril Lagasse show on the Food Network. Her live performances have taken her around the country to many clubs and theaters.
