Blairstown — The Foodshed Alliance is teaming up with five chefs from some of northern New Jersey’s most prestigious restaurants to offer a five-course wine-pairing dinner at Alba Vineyards. The dinner, which benefits the Foodshed Alliance, is scheduled for 4 p.m. on July 24 and will feature locally produced food from farms throughout northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Dinner will be served at Alba Vineyard where guests can attend a vineyard tour followed by elegant al fresco dining amongst the vines. Each course will be paired with one of Alba’s award-winning wines, hand-selected by expert winemakers. The dinner will begin with an assortment of passed hors d’oeuvres and then guests will be seated at a magnificently prepared table and will be served five courses of locally sourced food paired with wine produced directly from the land where you are dining. Music will be provided by Kathy Phillips who will perform from her folk-artist repertoire. The cost is $125 per person and seating is limited.
