RockNBowl returning to Sparta Lanes
Sparta — After a successfully sold-out July launch of RockNBowl LIVE, Sparta Lanes boosts family entertainment to the next level with a tri-band, multi-age RockNBowl LIVE event August 27, from 6 p.m. to midnight, headlining Luke & The Troublemakers (performing selections with TORRI) at 8:30 p.m., with a 6 p.m. family-friendly double concert for younger rockers featuring two Sparta-based opening acts: TORRI, and The Mosaics.
“We recognized an amazing opportunity to bring the Sparta area family entertainment that’ll thrill everyone from pre-teens to more mature audiences,” said Sparta Lanes General Manager Tom Semiz. “Both music and bowling transcend age, so what better pairing? Our new 16’X16’ stage goes directly over the lanes, allowing both bowlers and non-bowlers to enjoy the entertainment. We also offer great food and refreshments for everyone through our Strikers Sports Bar and Grill, along with fun arcade games for all ages.”
The younger rockers double concert kicks off at 6pm with local band The Mosaics playing a wide range of covers of popular songs. 13-yr old Sparta sensation TORRI follows playing acoustic guitar and singing today’s alternative pop songs as well as original pieces. At 8:30 p.m, New Jersey favorites Luke & The Troublemakers take the stage to rock out until midnight, joined by TORRI on selections. Special RockNBowl LIVE pricing offers bowlers $5 games from 6 to 8 p.m. From 8:30 p.m. to midnight, it’s $80. for an entire lane for up to six bowlers.
