Sparta Historical Society welcomes all fairies, wizards, unicorns and elves to join in for a bit of mythical fun as it celebrates the Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer.

On Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Van Kirk Museum, Sheri Verrill will host students ages seven and up to play magical games, share a mystical drink and treat, learn about mystical creatures and create a small fantasy garden to take home.
The Museum is located at 336 Main St. (Route 517; use Middle School Driveway), Sparta.
This event is limited to 20 students. Cost is $12 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
Advance registration and payment are due by June 10; refundable only if cancelled by June 17 because of program craft supply preparation.
