Sparta rowing club gets new shells

The members of the Sussex County Rowing Club are the happy recipients of two single sculling shells from Harvard University that had recently been replaced with new shells. The shells were donated by Dan Boyne, Director of Recreational Rowing at Harvard University and author of the new rowing memoir, "The Seven Seat."

This donation will help Sussex County Rowing Club’s athletes with more opportunities for training and racing. The club now has athletes from Sparta High School, Sussex Tech and Pope John.
