Mooney — Deveney

Sarah Mooney, of Sparta, and Joseph Deveney of Hazelton, PA, were married June 15, 2013, on the wedding patio at Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg, overlooking the beautiful links course.

The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Diane Koob, pastor of the Sparta United Methodist Church.

Sister of the bride, Michelle Osborne, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were sister of the groom, Becky Jones, and friends of the bride, Courtney Sparino and Susan Flaherty.

Brother of the groom, Greg Deveney, was the best man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride, Sean Mooney, and friends of the groom, Dave Peshler and Dave Arnette.

After the ceremony an evening reception was held at the Owen Pavilion at the Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg.

The bride, daughter of Barbara and Michael Mooney, of Sparta, is a 2006 graduate of Sparta High School and a 2010 graduate of Kent State University. She is employed as an interior designer at Price Modern in Baltimore, Maryland.

The groom, son of Ann and Jim Deveney of Hazelton, PA, is a 2003 graduate of Susquehannock High School and a 2007 graduate of James Madison University. He is employed as a warehouse operations manager at Best Buy in Elkridge, MD.

Following their honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple is at home in Abingdon, MD.
