KRHS history teacher recognized

Newton — Carolle Im has been selected by the Chinkchewunska Chapter NSDAR as their 2017 Outstanding Teacher of American History. Im is entering her eleventh year as a teacher at Kittatinny Regional High School and has taught United States History on multiple levels, including Advanced Placement, where her students are highly successful and earn college credit as a result of their work. Im challenges her students on a daily basis to not only learn history, but also to question historical perspectives, educating them as global thinkers.
The Chinkchewunska Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is located in Wantage.
