Anthony (“Tony”) J. Bonfiglio of Oak Ridge, N.J., passed away at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. He was 73.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1947, in Jersey City, N.J., to the late Phyllis (nee Bianciella) and the late Joseph Anthony Bonfiglio.
Tony married Jill (nee Gleason) in 1983 and resided and raised their family in Oak Ridge until his passing.
He was self-employed; he owned and operated A-Z Packaging, which markets displays.
Tony will best be remembered as an avid cook and gardener and for fixing anything for anyone.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph, in 1967 and his mother, Phyllis, in 2020.
Tony was survived by his beloved wife, Jill; his loving daughters, Gina Turzi, and her husband, Patrick, and Sandy White and her husband, Max; his cherished granddaughters, Alyssa, Bianca, and Ashley Turzi; his dear brother, Ralph Bonfiglio and his wife, Marilyn; his dear nieces, Alexis Milo and her husband, Christopher, and Corrie Linder and her husband, William; his sister-in-law, Lynda Sanson, and her husband, Norman; his brother-in-law, John, and his wife, Maxine; as well as many beloved cousins and family friends.
The family received visitors on Feb. 21 at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, Newfoundland, N.J. The funeral mass took place Feb. 22 at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Oak Ridge, N.J., followed by the interment at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, adjacent to the church.
