It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Cassini announces his passing after a courageous battle with cancer on September 27, 2017 at the age of 45. He died peacefully at home with his wife by his side.
A native of Flanders NJ, Chris lived the last 17 years in Sparta, NJ. He was a Master Service Technician at Toyota of Morristown and loved all things car related including his 1977 Dodge Charger Daytona. Chris had a heart of gold, always helping others. He was an avid animal lover, always feeding wild life and rescuing any animal in need. He loved to be out in nature, spending many happy times with his beloved Catherine in Cape May.
Chris leaves behind his wife and best friend, Catherine, his parents, Rich and Cindy Cassini, his brother Andrew and his wife Jennifer, his sister Nicole and her husband Ian, his niece Alyssa and nephews Matthew and Jake. Also, his brother-in-law Michael, his sister-in-law Linda and her husband Joseph, brother-in-law Gene and his wife Nicki, and his many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Chis was loved by all and will be greatly missed. There was a Celebration of his life on Friday October 6, 2017 at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta NJ. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday October 7, at Saint Kateri Church, 427 Stanhope Road, Sparta.
