Ralph H. Zajac of Wantage, N.J., went home to be with The Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021, at his residence with his loving wife by his side. He was 66.
Born in Sussex to the late Nicholas and Madeline (Finigan) Zajac, Ralph graduated High Point Regional High School in 1972 and lived in Sussex County all of his life. He was employed as a tool and die maker for Ames Rubber Corp. in Hamburg, N.J., for 40 years. Ralph was an active member of Christian Faith Fellowship Church and volunteered on several of the church’s humanitarian projects and went on multiple Mission trips to various foreign countries.
He loved his wife, was so proud of his children, adored his grandchildren and was always willing to help others. He was a soccer coach for many years.
Ralph was predeceased by his brother Randy; his sister, Terry; and his niece, Kristie Zajac.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Cindy (Bartholomew); sons, Nick Zajac and his wife, Seonead of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Ryan Zajac of Wantage; daughters, Alisha Pavlick and her husband, Joel, of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Zajac and Ty of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brothers Robert Zajac and his wife, Jo Ann, of Wantage, Michael Zajac and his wife, Dottie, of Wantage, and Les Zajac and his wife, Tammy, of Matamoras, Pa.; grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Rileigh, Ethan, Savannah, Carson, and Aaliyah.
Friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday, March 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex, N.J. Memorial services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Due to New Jersey government health restrictions, attendees will be limited and are required to wear face masks at all times and practice proper social distancing. Virtual services will be available for anyone who would like to view Ralph’s service.
