Pets invited to church for special blessing

Sussex — Pets are invited to church, along with their people when the Sussex United Methodist Church holds its third annual special worship services to give thanks for the Blessing of Creation. At these services, all people and their pets (and other reasonably polite animals) are invited to come to the church’s outdoor chapel in the rear of the church for a special blessing during worship, weather permitting. To make sure everyone gets along, all dogs must be on a leash, and other pets must be securely leashed or caged. People are encouraged to wear casual attire at the worship service, which will run about an hour or less. The church is located at 15 Bank Street, Sussex.
