Robert J. Kent

Robert J. Kent, age 74, of Hewitt died on Tuesday, July 19, 2005. He was a resident of Hewitt for the past 19 years after moving here from East Windsor, NJ. Mr. Kent was a mechanical engineer and was employed by Becton Dickinson in Franklin Lakes for 10 years and was previously employed by Johnson & Johnson in East Windsor for 14 years. He was a member of the NJ State Board of Professional Engineers. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Walton; a sister-in-law, Barbara Kantscheidt; a nephew Steven Kantscheidt and his wife Stephanie; a grand niece Kerry; Stepson Wes Biggers and his wife Holly and step grandchildren Erik and Olivia; stepson Clark Biggers; he was predeceased by a son, Lee Kantscheidt and a brother, Richard Kantscheidt. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 23 at the Echo Lake Baptist Church, 1355 Macopin Road, West Milford at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford on Friday, July 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lee Kantscheidt Memorial Fund, (see family for details) or the Echo Lake Baptist Church.
