Two area students to graduate Newark Academy

ANDOVER — Jaxon Gruber of Andover and Jordan Jett of Lake Hopatcong are among the 98 students from Newark Academy in Livingston who received a diploma at the commencement exercises on Sunday, June 12. Gruber is a recepient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and the John L. McGraw ’49 Arts Department Award. He will attend Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Jett is a recepient of the Walton J. Graft/Joseph M. Byrne, Jr. Award for Athletics, Athletic Excellence Award, and the Robert R. Krumm Scholar Athlete Award. He will attend the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
