Kut named Realtor of the Year
SPARTA. Catherine ‘Cathy’ Kut was chosen by a committee of peers and former winners of the Sussex County award.
Catherine “Cathy” Kut was chosen as Realtor of the Year by the Sussex County Association of Realtors at its annual meeting at the Farmstead Golf & Country Club in Lafayette.
Kut is a producing manager and mentor at Realty Executives Exceptional Realtors in Sparta.
The award winner is chosen by a committee of peers and former winners of the award.
The criteria include involvement in the Sussex County and National associations of Realtors, community and humanitarian service activities, business accomplishments and overall Realtor spirit.
Emily Bowden, executive officer for the Sussex County Association of Realtors, said, “The Realtor of the Year is a person that gives of themselves. They don’t look for compliments. They don’t announce what they do or wait for someone to ask of them.
“They volunteer, they help others and what they do comes from their hearts. Cathy exemplifies all the good that Realtors stand for.”
Kut supports numerous organizations in Sussex County, including Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Sussex County United Way; Sussex County Chamber of Commerce; Boy Scout Tribute; Christmas Toy Drive; Gift of Warmth; Pass It Along; Project Self-Sufficiency; German Christmas Market of New Jersey; Women’s Council; March of Dimes; and Sparta Education Foundation.
