September 30 Bukka Waldron, 28, of New York City, was sentenced to two years probation, 90 days in the SLAP program, ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow its recommendation, and his driver’s license was suspended for six months. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205. He pled guilty on Aug. 8 to possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, a third degree crime. Harold Schnorr, 22, of Ogdensburg was sentenced to three years probation and must serve 364 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility. As part of his sentencing Schnorr’s driving privileges will be suspended for six months, he must also attend and complete a drug treatment program, pay fines and penalties in the amount of $2,380. He pled guilty on July 25, to two counts of possession of heroin, third degree crimes. On March 1, he was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was stopped by Sparta Police Officer John Lamon and was found to be in possession of four bags of heroin. On June 24, he was arrested by Ogdensburg Police Officer Stephen Gordon and was found to be in possession of several bags of heroin. Stephanie Manus, 20, of Stanhope, was sentenced to two years probation and 35 days jail credit, pay fines and penalties in the amount of $280. As part of her sentencing Manus must also pay restitution to the victim in the amount of $1,127. She pled guilty on April 11 to theft by deception and forgery, both crimes in the third degree. Manus admitted to police that on or about April 10, while employed as a babysitter for a family in Branchville, she took checks from her employer, wrote four of them out to cash and forged the victim’s signature to obtain cash. John M. Little, 40, of Frankford, was sentenced to three years probation with credit for 37 days served in jail, one-year loss of driver’s license, fines and penalties. As part of probation, Little is to continue his mental health counseling. He pled guilty on July 25 to unlawful taking by means of conveyance, a fourth degree crime. On May 17, in Frankford, he took a backhoe belonging to a neighbor without the owner’s consent and then fled into the woods on foot when police attempted to apprehend him. Little is also facing violations in Municipal Court stemming from this incident. Jeffrey Campoli, 20, of New Windsor, NY, was sentenced to two years probation. As part of his sentencing Campoli’s driving privileges will be suspended for one year, he must also undergo a TASC evaluation and follow its recommendations, submit to random breath and urine testing. Campoli must maintain employment, pay fines and penalties in the amount of $2505. He pled guilty on July 25 to two counts of possession of heroin, third degree crime and a disorderly persons offense of shoplifting. On May 29, he was arrested by State Trooper S. Kuhn for shoplifting at the Wal-Mart in Hampton Township and was found to be in possession of 32 bags of heroin. On June 6, he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation by Sparta Police Officer Marc Rubino and found to be in possession of a bag of heroin. Shane Scott, 25, of Middletown, N.Y, was sentenced to two years probation, completion of an inpatient drug rehabilitation program and his driver’s license was suspended for six months. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,175. He pled guilty on Aug. 8, to possession of cocaine, a third degree crime. David Gonzalez, 22, of Newfoundland, was sentenced to two years probation with the requirement that he serve 120 days in county jail, ordered to pay $1,205 in statutory fines and his New Jersey driver’s license was suspended for six months. He pled guilty on June 20 to possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, a third degree crime. George Agens, 26, of Andover Township, was sentenced to two years probation and as part of his sentence he must serve 30 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility, Agens must undergo a TASC evaluation and follow its recommendations, submit to random breath and urine testing. Agens will pay fines and penalties in the amount of $280 and restitution to the victim in the amount of $3,661,00. He pled guilty on June 13 to two counts of aggravated assault; both are crimes in the third degree. On May 5, 2004, the defendant assaulted two employees at an Andover Township bar after being told by one of them that he had to pay for drinks that he had ordered. A Sussex County Grand Jury indicted the defendant on these charges on Feb. 1. Thomas Theissen, 43, of Hamburg was sentenced to three years probation, 150 hours community service and fines and penalties totaling $155. He pled guilty on June 13 to theft by unlawful taking, a third degree crime. He confessed to taking several small appliances from his employer without paying for them, which he turned over to police upon being questioned and charged for the theft. This crime occurred in Sparta Township in April. Gary Hinton, 22, of Belleville was sentenced to seven years State Prison with the requirement that he serve eighty-five percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole release. Following his release from prison, he will be under parole supervision for three years. Hinton was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $481. He must pay total fines and penalties of $205. He pled guilty on June 3, 2003, to robbery, a second-degree crime. On Sept. 27, 2001, Hinton and two co-defendants, Michael Gardi and Frank Delvecchio, drove to the In and Out Deli on Route 206 in Andover Township during the early morning hours and, when no one was in the store other than the clerk, robbed the clerk at gun point, taking the cash drawer containing several hundred dollars and lottery tickets. They made a successful escape but were apprehended the following day in Tuxedo, N.Y., after crashing their car at the conclusion of a high-speed chase, which originated at a police safety checkpoint in Ringwood. October 3 Zachery Green, 21, of Manhattan, pled guilty to accomplice liability for the distribution of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, a third degree crime, and accomplice liability for the distribution of cocaine within 500 feet of a public building, a second degree crime. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 10. He admitted to assisting a juvenile in the distribution of cocaine from an apartment on Spring Street, Newton, that was within 1,000 feet of St. Joseph’s School and within 500 feet of the Newton Fire Museum on Dec. 30, 2004. Robert Monahan, 45, of Greentown, Pa., pled guilty to possession of heroin, a third degree crime, and motor vehicle tickets for inoperable license plate and unlicensed driver. He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 10. The car he was operating was pulled over on Oct. 29, 2004 by Sparta Police Officer Robert Fraser, and a search of it resulted in the seizure of 11 bags of heroin. Steven Wade, 52, of Hardyston Township, pled guilty to maintaining a facility for the production of methamphetamme, a first-degree crime. He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 10. He admitted maintaining the equipment necessary for the production of methamphetamine, which he did on numerous occasions at his apartment in Hardyston Township. Roy Aull, 23, of Andover, pled guilty to two counts of distribution of more than one ounce of marijuana and to distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, third degree crimes. He is scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 10. He admitted that on Sep. 26, 2001, he distributed slightly more than one ounce of marijuana, and on Oct. 17, 2001, he distributed a quarter pound of marijuana, each time while within 1,000 feet of the Halsted Street School. Diane Marchese, 24, of Newton pled guilty to one count of obstruction of justice, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 10. On or about May 10, 2004 the defendant provided law enforcement false information regarding another criminal investigation.
