Four Sparta grads receive scholarships from church

SPARTA-Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church recently awarded its annual Hartmann Scholarships to deserving students who will continue their education this fall. All four recipients graduated from Sparta High School last month. They are Rory Karl, who will be attending Susquehanna University, Kristen Fisher, attending Shenandoah University, Lauren Lewandowski, the University of Delaware, and Lauren Fabian, the University of South Carolina.
