MOUNT OLIVE—The ITCA (International Trade Center Alliance) Kids EXPRESS Triathlon is looking for “a few good athletes.” Indeed, there are still openings for this year’s ITCA Kids EXPRESS Triathlon, scheduled for September 16th at the International Trade Center. The ITCA Kids EXPRESS Triathlon starts at 8 a.m. and will be completed by noon. Participants between the ages of 6 and 11 are eligible to compete. The “companion” event to the ITCA Triathlon, the kids’ version of the adult race has three components—run, bike and obstacle course (the adult race includes segments for biking, canoeing, and running) and there are boy and girl winners in six different age groups, 12 winners in all. Every kid is a winner, even if they don’t come in first. Each competitor receives a Triathlon t-shirt, a goodie bag filled with great kids’ stuff, and a free lunch. Registration fees are $15 per child. For further information and applications for this year’s ITCA Kids EXPRESS Triathlon, visit www.ITCAevents.org or call ITCA office, 973-347-3088.
