KEEP kids have fun celebrating the holidays

Sparta — All over Sussex County, KEEP (Kids Educational Enrichment Program) kids are gearing up for the holidays with games, decorations and community service. From the youngest toddlers, as singing snowmen, at the L’il KEEPer’s annual holiday party to the oldest Project KEEP kids at Mohawk Avenue, making salt dough ornaments, KEEP kids are celebrating the winter holidays in KEEP style. From Vernon to Stanhope to Sandyston to Stillwater, KEEP kids are taking part in holiday art projects, games and parties to celebrate the season. KEEP kids regularly participate in educationally enriching programs that include everything from physical recreation to homework assistance to digital photography projects, under the supervision of caring, qualified staff. In addition, KEEP will be providing holiday care for those parents who need to work between Christmas and New Year’s. Care is available for children home from school on Dec. 28, 29 and 30. And don’t forget that KEEP never closes for weather-related conditions and provides snow day care when your child’s school is closed. Holiday care has already been a big hit this year as children got to make “slime,” play games, participate in face painting and get creative with special arts projects. In response to parent needs, KEEP is now open for school-age children during school vacations, holidays and snow days. This special program is available to all children, whether currently registered in KEEP programs or not. Unlimited financial assistance is available to families who qualify for all of KEEP’s programs. For more information call 973-383-2213 or visit www.keepkids.org.
