Askin attends the 2012 Elder Law College

SPARTA — William P. Askin, a Sparta attorney, attended the 2012 Elder Law College

The Elder Law College, in cooperation with the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, is a comprehensive education program focused on the legal issues and concerns faced by senior citizens.

The curriculum recently completed by Askin includes Medicaid Planning Techniques, At Home Medicaid (known as Global Options), Chronic Illness and Planning for the Aging Client, Estate Planning and Elective Share Issues, Elder Care Issues in Second Marriages, Special Needs Trusts, Social Security and VA Public Benefits.

Askin, a 1990 graduate of New York Law School, is a Partner with the Law Firm of Nicholson & Askin, LLC, at 1 Main Street in Sparta.
