Council approves $520K contract for water infrastructure at White Deer Plaza

Sparta. The Sparta Township Council on Sept. 14 awarded a contract of nearly $520,000 to change the White Deer Plaza and Celia Drive pump stations and force mains.

“We were very pleased with the amount of responses and bid prices submitted,” Township Manager Neil Spidaletto said.

The bid was awarded to low bidder Fred Devens Construction for $519,676.

“We plan to get the contracts signed as soon as possible,” Spidaletto said.
