Doctors from The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey selected as “New Jersey Top Docs”

HACKETTSTOWN — For the third consecutive year, as reported by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, doctors from The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey were honored with recognition as “New Jersey Top Doctors.”

This year, the doctors chosen from the Practice for this prestigious award were Doctors Burak Alptekin, Christopher Castro, Michael Gutkin, Atif Malik and Paul Teja. The doctors selected represent both the Orthopedic and Pain Management components of the Practice. Together with their colleagues and staff, these doctors use a blend of surgical and nonsurgical options to improve the quality of life for patients located throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.

Doctors are selected as “Top Docs” by their licensed peers who are asked to vote for physicians they would choose to treat their own family members. Only 974 doctors throughout New Jersey, representing 68 specialties, were selected.

The medical staff of The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey specializes in sports-related injuries and disorders, with an emphasis on those involving the shoulder, knee, spine, foot, ankle, hand and upper extremity. Specialists are available to address patient needs related to any part of the body.

Additionally, Rheumatologist Dr. Jason Wu has recently joined the practice to address any ailments related to his area of specialty. The practice also provides on-site physical therapy for its patients at two of its locations, Hackettstown and Roxbury.
