COMMUNITY. Each year ashes from the previous year's flag retirement are spread over the graves of veterans.

Sussex County Municipal Authority (SCUMA) and the American Legion hold the annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Northern New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.
