— Investing is a theme that applies to many areas of life. Many people have stock or mutual fund portfolios. Some folks buy real estate hoping it will appreciate in time and bring a profitable return in the future.

Northwest Christian School invests its time and affections into children. On Thursday, Oct. 2, Northwest Christian School invites the community, at no cost, to attend its annual fundraising banquet which will be held at the Lake Mohawk Country Club, in Sparta.

The evening will commence at 6:30 p.m., with a buffet dinner served at 7 p.m.

It will be an evening of fellowship, good food, edifying music, and an opportunity to participate in the discipleship of young people who are the future leaders of our families, churches, and neighborhoods by pledging financially to support the education offered at Northwest Christian School.

The featured speaker for the night will be Joe Morris, the former All-Pro running back of the New York Giants from 1982 to 1988.

He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1985 and 1986. He also played an integral part in the 1986 Giants’ Super Bowl win.

Sport’s fans were used to seeing Morris dart and slash through the defensive line of opposing teams, but now he is part of a larger and more important spiritual team. Morris will share about his professional career and how God changed his life.

Anyone interested in attending the event can contact the school office at 973-383-9713.
