German Christmas Festival held in Sparta

SPARTA — The annual Lake Mohawk German Christmas Festival known as the Weihnachtsmarkt was held this weekend in Sparta.
There was a train ride for the children and plenty of unique hand-crafted gifts for the shoppers in attendance.
Guests could feast on traditional german food, relax and listen to the harmony singers or reminisce over the old time german toys, chocolates and candies.
Lake Mohawk set a beautiful backdrop where you could sit under the heated tents and enjoy a cup of hot cider.
