SPARTA — Jacqueline Foley was crowned the 2013 Miss Sparta on June 7 in the grand ballroom at the Lake Mohawk Country Club.

First runner up was Breanna Vitolo, second runner up was Elise Lee, third runner up was Genevieve McDonough and fourth runner up was Kim Bollard.

This continues a long association with the club, with the very first pageant held there 76 years ago.

This year's contestants are: Lauren Scott, Christine Scaglione, Mariel Householder, Reema Navalurkar, Miss Sparta 2012 Stephanie Leotsakos, Brittney Nielsen, Keren Santos, Breanna Vitolo, Gabrielle Perretta, Meghan Johnson, Jaqueline Foley, Claire Romine, Ashley Darnsteadt, Nicole Casey, Kim Bollard, AllisonMarcino, Talia Smith, Elise Lee, Cassie Shugart.
