Hilltop Country Day School Spelling Bee Winners

Each January, Hilltop Country Day School sends two fifth grade contestants to compete in the Junior Women's Club of Sparta Annual Spelling Bee. This Spelling Bee is open to all fifth graders in Sparta and affords students the opportunity to participate in an academic challenge that may lead to subsequent regional and state competitions. After several rounds of classroom practice bees and a written test of challenging fifth grade words, the Hilltop winners are Corrine

and Jessica Wilm. These successful sisters will represent Hilltop Country Day School in the 19th Annual Spelling Bee on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m. The Bee will take place at the Mohawk Avenue School, located at 18 Mohawk Avenue.
