Incumbent

As an involved parent and responsible taxpayer with children in the Sparta Public Schools, I have a vested interest in the Sparta school system. I bring a strong business and management background to the Board of Education.

My passion for assuring the best possible education for Sparta’s children has led me to serve six years on the board and continues to guide me in seeking my third consecutive term, most recently as president.

My experience and commitment are more important than ever for the upcoming year as there is a great deal of work still to be accomplished with many projects currently in development or underway. I continue to try to be a stabilizing influence on the board and plan to further our schools’ educational goals while controlling property taxes.

Helped ensure Schools met new State-mandated academic standards & requirements

Led appointment of new administration team & supervisors

Part of team to accomplish a zero-based budget

30 years in the Medical Industry - Regulatory Affairs Executive

8 years coaching Sparta Girls Soccer

4 years coaching Sparta Boys Lacrosse
