Lake Mohawk woman receives piano award

SPARTA — Lake Mohawk resident Ande Wittenmeier, a piano student of Beverly Flormann, has attained her Five Year National Award in classical piano by performing a memorized ten piece program, each year, for five years.

Wittenmeier's program covered 400 years of music including Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary.

She is a member of The National Fraternity of Student Musicians and has been a student of Flormann for eight years.
