Liz Tuccillo coming to Young Professionals event

Mayo Performing Arts Center welcomes people in their 20s and 30s to attend a special event with bestselling author Liz Tuccillo on Tuesday, April 19, at 6 p.m.

General admission tickets are $15 (2 for $25).

The event will include networking opportunities, hors d'oeurvres, an author book signing, specialty cocktails, beer and wine, a conversation with the author, backstage tours of the theater, and ticket raffle.

The event will take place in MPAC's Starlight Room.

Liz Tuccillo is best known for writing for two seasons on HBO's "Sex and the City." She went on to co-author the self-help book He's Just Not That Into You, which was turned into a feature film of the same title. Her first novel, How to Be Single, has also been turned into a film that premiered in movie theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. She is also the creator of the 2005 television series Related which aired on the WB network and worked on NBC's "Smash." She recently wrote and directed her first feature film "Take Care" and is currently developing Roz Chast's graphic novel "Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant" for television.

Tuccillo will share highs and lows from her storied career in literature and show business, as well as insights into following your passion and achieving professional success.
