Cora on the Girl Scout float in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. See her peeping out from behind the wheel?
SPARTA — Sparta's own Girl Scout, Cora Stevens, rode on the first-ever Girl Scout float in Macy's 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade. She was thrilled to be a part of such a special event. Cora has been a Girl Scout since Kindergarten, and recently bridged into Brownies. Cora has participated in many events with her Troop #6230 in Sparta, and she looks forward to the experiences to come. Riding in the Macy's Parade on the Girl Scout float was an exciting experience she won't soon forget. She was very proud to ride and represent her sisters in Girl Scouts of America.
