The rain certainly didn’t dampen any spirits on St. Francis Feast Day, on Oct. 4 at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta.
A great many dogs, cat, lizard, rabbit and hermit crab received their blessing from Deacon Curcio while Fr. Kamil Kiszka meandered amongst the animals sporting a big smile.
High School volunteers Logan and Maya also joined the team to assist.
