Photo studio provides Christmas gifts for 85 children
Sparta — In November Anthony and Sarah Ziccardi, owners of Anthony Ziccardi Studios in Theatre center wanted to give back to the children of their community. The teamed up with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency in Sussex County to establish a Gift Giving Tree for local foster children in their photo studio. With a list of 85 children (some from local families who reached out as well) they set a goal to provide each and every child with the items off their Christmas Wish List.
Thanks to the members of the community and many out of state clients AZS was able to give each child on the tree multiple gifts to open on Christmas morning.
“As a mother this project touched me dearly," Sarah Ziccardi said. "My family and I are extremely blessed. My two boys are lucky little kids who have everything they need. I try to remind them everyday but especially times like today just how lucky they truly are. They don’t know what it’s like to wake up on Christmas and see that Santa couldn’t bring them the 1 thing they asked for or even worse that Santa didn’t come. I know Christmas is not about physical presents but to a little kid they don’t always understand that.”
Anthony Ziccardi said, “We enjoy giving back to our community. It’s our way of saying thank you for the love and support they show our business everyday.”
