SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School honored 12 seniors and two faculty members who have been truly an "Honor to the Father" during the school's 2018 Service Award Liturgy late last month at Pope John High School.
The senior award winners were: Peacemaker Bakinahe, Nick Bello, Margaret Butler, Grace Campbell, Victoria Caruso, Toni Ippolito, Robert Kerwick, Jordan Paladini, Trevor Potts, Adriana Purcell, Grayson Smetana and Katie Valenza
The faculty award winners were: Mrs. Fabiana Lynch and Mr. William Rosanelli.
The award winners also participated in the washing of the feet, a ritual that celebrates in a special way the Last Supper of Jesus, before which he washed the feet of his 12 apostles.
