Scouts remember 9/11

SPARTA — Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts from around Sussex County had the honor of participating in the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony held at Sussex County Community College on Sept. 9.
John Puszcz, an Eagle Scout from Sparta Troop 150, led the attendees in the pledge of allegiance.
Several members of Troop 150 and other area Boy Scout troop members were featured on a stage to the right of the main stage in a show of scouting support. "The event was very moving and helped us all remember the 9/11 attacks," said the scouts.
This press release was written by 11 year boy scout Hunter Roggero as part of his troop position of responsibility. As troop journalist, Hunter is responsible for publicizing the activities and efforts of Troop 150 and communicating with local newspapers and media outlets.
