Sparta author at Black Dog Books

NEWTON — Sparta author Patricia O. Galperin will be at Black Dog Books in Newton on Saturday, August 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a book signing and discussion of her book “In Search of Princess White Deer” and will give a special presentation.
Galperin’s book “In Search of Princess White Deer” has been cited in several scholarly works and has been warmly received by the Mohawk Nation.
A special visual presentation will be given to inspire readers to visit the Sparta Historical Society Van Kirk Museum and to enhance the museum experience. Galperin will be the guest curator of the upcoming exhibit “Princess White Deer: A Woman, a Mohawk and a Legend” opening on September 24.
