SPARTA — The Sparta Cosmos D2 Flight 3 team coached by Ron Bivona, Paul Windle and Rene Kegelman won the Morris County Youth Soccer Spring D2 League Cup with a win over Pompton Lakes on June 13.
The Cosmos won five consecutive games to win the League Cup, culminating with a victory against Pompton Lakes with a 2-2 score in regular play and winning the Championship game in penalty kicks.
Along their way to the Cup Championship the Cosmos defeated the D2 Flight first and second place teams and Flight second team.
