Sparta Kiwanas holds officer induction

The Kiwanis Club of Sparta held its 2015 2016 Officer Induction & Award ceremony Oct. 7. This event, held at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church in Sparta, was attended by many members and their spouses.

Officers inducted to serve during the 2015-16 time period include: President: Michael Castiglia; President Elect: Jeff Mullen; Vice President: Andy Garger; Secretary: Randy Earl; Treasurer: Doug Ellsworth; Sergeant at Arms: Keith Bertellotti; Immediate Past President: Jack Healey

Awards given at this ceremony based on years of dedicated service and support to the Sparta Community, to the Kiwanis Club of Sparta, and to the greater New Jersey and International Kiwanis organization include the following: Kiwanis Leadership Society award: Andy Garger and Mike Castiglia; Life Member award: Frank Cannistra Carrington Swain Fellow award: Jack Healey; Centennial Award: Recipient to be announced; President's Plaque: Jack Healy
