Sparta PD celebrates 75 years of service

On Thursday, Dec. 29, at noon, the Sparta Police Department will celebrate its 75th Anniversary of service to the people of Sparta. There will be a brief ceremony with cake and coffee in the Police Department’s patrol room. Chief Ernest Reigstad invites the public to attend. Anyone attending, please enter through the Police Station lobby and you will be advised where to go for the ceremony.
