Acting A Part Theatre Company ended the year last weekend (Dec. 17 and 18) with a bang, performing the comical yet dramatic “Little Shop of Horrors.”
The student cast ages 9 through 16 led the audience through a series of songs and acts about a florist shop worker on New York’s Skid Row who raises a unique plant that brings him fame. And a romantic theme is interlaced.
The popular movie in 1986 was based on an off-Broadway play.
Offering theater, television and film programs that encompass acting, directing and writing components of a production, Acting –A-Part caters to all ages. A variety of 10 to 15-week programs get participants involved with the whole creative process.
Owner and Sparta resident Erika Lupo recently franchised Acting–A-Part with locations in California and New Jersey.
Upcoming winter workshops include and are ‘inspired by’ “Moana”, “Finding Dory”, “Legally Blonde”, “Teen Beach Musical”, “Harry Potter” and “Pretty Little Liarz.”
