On Saturday, Feb. 23 Troop 150 participated in the second annual First Aid-O-Ree at Wallkill Valley Regional High School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Seven teams from different area Boy Scout troops competed against each other. There were seven scenarios where each team had to perform first aid in five minutes and then were scored.

Scouts performed skills like CPR, bandaging, splinting, Heimlich, applying a tourniquet and transporting victims. Each team had to present a complete first aid kit that was checked as part of the competition. Troop 150 had two teams participating.

Team 1 came in sixth and Team 2 came in third.
