Drizzle and gray skies didn't stop dedicated volunteers from setting up the huts where vendors will sell their wares during the 2019 German Christmas Market.

The German-themed market has been a tradition since 2001, when it was brought to life by volunteers aiming to raise funds for local charities through a public event along the Lake Mohawk Country Club boardwalk. It's now recognized as the largest annual Christmas Market in New Jersey. The Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market Foundation, Inc. is comprised of volunteers.

This year's event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8. To learn more, visit lakemohawkgermanchristmasmarket.com.
