Sparta -Kathryn Benson, a 2007 psychology/secondary education major, and the daughter of the Rev. Barry and Susan Benson was named to the spring semester Dean's List at Susquehanna University. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a minimum 3.4 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 for the semester, while completing a minimum of 12 semester hours. Rider University celebrated its 139th commencement Friday, May 14. Dr. Merdeehai Rozanski, president of the University, awarded more than 1,000 undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees and professional certifications to students who completed their degree requirements during the 2003-2004 academic year. Receiving their degrees at the commencement ceremony were Kristen A. Kunath and Natalie Michelle Randazzo, both of Sparta.
