October 10 At 6:45 p.m., Officer Marc Rubino stopped a car on Route 15 for having a light out. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of a passenger, Brian Storms, 37, of Vernon. He was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and later released. October 15 At 7:31 p.m., Sparta dispatcher was advised of a possible drunk driver on Route 15 headed north in a Green Eagle. Officer John Seville stopped the car on Route 517 after following it a short distance. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Jacelc Lezanski, 55, of Parsippany. He was charged with careless driving, driving while intoxicated, failing to keep right, failing to wear a scat belt and failing to produce his documents. He was later released.
